• Fires across the Los Angeles area have devastated entire neighborhoods and sent tens of thousands of people fleeing. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office said it’s investigating 11 deaths related to the fires. More than 10,000 structures have been destroyed and over 300,000 residents are under evacuation orders or warnings, officials said.
  • More than 56 square miles have burned – and the dangers persist as winds that fanned the flames are expected to weaken on Friday but pick up again Sunday.
