TVA continued to monitor a dam along the Tennessee-North Carolina border Saturday afternoon, as floodwaters continued to put it under a major stress test.

Communities downstream remain under a flood warning, but TVA announced late Saturday morning that the river has crested, and the Nolichucky Dam remains intact.
